Ry, Denmark

Set within lush, green surroundings on the outskirts of Ry, this project is envisioned as a miniature village of individual houses. Connected by a generous central social square, each structure is defined by its own unique materiality and serves a specific programmatic function. An integrated outdoor circulation zone guides pupils from the natural terrain to their classrooms, acting simultaneously as a passive solar screen and a versatile covered space.
